Very happy with this player - inexpensive, versatile, with quality images
I was not quite ready to make the leap to Blu-Ray, but I did want an upconverting dvd player that could take advantage of the resolution on my new 42″ Sanyo 1080p LCD television…

Great Product
My only complaint would be the remote. The buttons on the remote control are very small and hard to read. Other than that, this Samsung DVD player is an excellent product.

Great but kinda annoying too
We have a Samsung 1080p HDTV so this player was a natural fit. The picture is awesome and the sound is great, but we are a really lo-tech family.

Plays both PAL and NTSC DVDs
I bought this DVD player because it can play region-free PAL discs. It even flawlessly played a dual-layer DVD-R with a PAL-encoded movie on it.
